Import Ticket Buyers to MailChimp

To import your ticket buyers into MailChimp, follow these steps:

First, export your ticket buyers from Freshtix

1. Log in to Freshtix
2. Go to your event dashboard
3. Download the 'Purchaser Report' for your event
4. The report will download as a .CSV file
5. Open the file in Excel or Google Sheets
6. If you've used our box office solution, you'll need to delete any temporary email addresses ending in _____@freshtix.boxoffice
7. Save your clean file

Second, import this list into MailChimp

1. Log in to your MailChimp account
2. Click on the list you wish to import into
3. Click the 'add subscribers' button and then select 'import subscribers'
4. Select to import subscribers by 'Copy/paste from file' 
5. Copy and paste these 3 columns from your file
   1. First Name
   2. Last Name
   3. Email Address
6. Click 'Next'
7. Map your columns by selecting the data contained and click save to proceed to the next column
8. Click 'Next' once complete
9. Choose 'Subscribe' as their status on the next page and choose to update their profile if they already exist
10. Click 'Import' and you're finished!
