Create a ticket

To create a price type follow these simple steps. (this article will show you what the ticket buyer is sent)

  1. Sign into
  2. Click on 'My Events'
  3. Select your event to open your Dashboard
  4. Click Edit Your Event
  5. Click the 'Tickets' tab on the left side of the screen.
  6. Here is where you will create or edit your ticket types.

First, give the price type a name.

Some good examples are:

  • General Admission
  • Per Person
  • Per Couple
  • Groups of Four
  • Adult Admission
  • Child Admission
  • Student Admission
  • VIP Admission
  • Military Discount

Some bad examples are:

  • GA
Not everyone knows GA stands for General Admission and you should see the confusion it causes in Georgia.

  • $5
Don't just name your ticket the price of the ticket

Next, specify the quantity available.

Give the ticket a really good description, such as

  • Ages 21 and Over
  • All Ages
  • Includes 1 free drink and 1 food item
  • Only 100 available

Edit when the Ticket Sales Start and End

You then can choose to add the ticket fee on top of the price of the ticket and make the ticket buyer pay it, or embed it and pay it yourself. There's a handy calculator to help you figure out how much you'll collect.

You can hide the ticket type from the Patrons view online.

You can also create a ticket type to be sold at the Box Office Setting only. This is not available for purchase to the general public online.

You can set a maximum or a minimum number of tickets allowed per order.

Lastly, you can manage the questions asked for each price type.
