How To Add Banking Information

To add your banking information, follow these steps (you must be the administrator of the account to have access to this):

  1. Login to Freshtix (Only available using organization email address. Event Manager Users will not be able to update payment information.)
  2. Click "Payments" in the Navigation menu
  3. Select the payment method and enter your banking or PayPal information (if applicable).
    1. Remember that the bank account number and the routing number are two different numbers. If you do not know your routing number, please contact your financial institution.
  4. Click "Save Organization" at the bottom of the page

 

*Please note that it is very important that you make sure your organization address is filled in correctly before you add your banking information*

 

Payment Processing/Merchant Accounts

You can use our merchant account, use PayPal or use your own.

On our merchant account there is a 3% cost in the ticket fees to cover payment processing but if you let your ticket buyers pay the fee then it won't cost you anything to use Freshtix. You'll make more money per ticket using our merchant account than using PayPal or your own merchant account.

Types Of Payment

If you elected to use our merchant account, there are 5 ways to get paid:

1. ACH Transfer

  • Cost = Free
  • Receive funds on the fourth business day following your event

2. Wire Transfer

  • Cost = $25.00
  • Receive funds on the first business day following your event

3. PayPal

  • Cost = $10 & PayPal's fees
  • Receive funds on the first business day following your event
  • Subject to PayPal's withdrawal limits

4. Check

  • Cost = $10 
  • A check will be mailed the first business day following your event

5. Early Payout

 

1. ACH Transfer

If you elect to use Freshtix credit card processing, you will get paid the first business day following your event by ACH transfer. ACH transfers take 3 working days (business days) to post to your bank account. An ACH transfer electronically transfers the money from our bank account to your bank account. 

Make sure you enter the correct bank information when setting up your account. Remember to double check:

  • Account Holder Name: E.G. 'My Company Inc' or 'John Doe'
  • Bank ACH Routing Number (usually 9 digits)
  • Bank Account Number

This service is free.

2. Wire Transfer

If you elect to use Freshtix credit card processing, you will get paid the first business day following your event by wire transfer. A wire transfers post to your bank account the same business day whereas an ACH transfer electronically transfers the money from our bank account to your bank account. 

Make sure you enter the correct bank information when setting up your account. Remember to double check:

  • Account Holder Name: E.G. 'My Company Inc' or 'John Doe'
  • Bank Wire Routing Number (usually 9 digits)
  • Bank Account Number

There is a $25 fee for this service.

3. Payment to your PayPal Account

If you would like to be paid by payment made to your PayPal account email address, you can add a PayPal address. PayPal charges a fee for this service and your ability to withdraw funds from your account depends on your status with PayPal. 

There is a $10 fee for this service.

4. Payment via Check

You can choose to receive payment via check, mailed to your Organization's address.

There is a $10 fee for this service.
