If you need to delete an event, simply deactivate it. That way, it won't be searchable on our site and no one will be able to purchase tickets for it.
If you set the event date to today, it will also disappear from your list of upcoming events, since the event date will have already passed.
Follow these steps:
- Edit your event and go to settings and set the event status to 'deactivated'
- Change the name of the event to 'DELETED'
- Change the date of the event today so that it appears in your past events
