How to scan tickets
If you do not already have the app download on your device, go to your app store to download the free Freshtix ticket scanning app.
- Make sure you are connected to the internet
- Launch our app and sign in
Select your event and wait for the event to load
Click 'Camera Scan” or use the Button on the right of the scanner to use the laser scan
If prompted, allow the app access to your camera
Hold your device about 5-10 inches away from the ticket. Use the laser scanner to scan the barcode or use the camera scan by positioning the barcode on the red line in the center of the green box and make sure to hold the device steady so the camera can focus.
The device will focus automatically, and the screen will display a response. Valid scan or invalid.
If the customer does not have their ticket, you can look up their order within the scanning app. Select Manual check in and wait for the customer list to show. Use the search bar to locate orders by customer last name. Select all tickets as checked in.
If you want the scanner to only scan certain price types
- Select the event you want to scan from.
- Once on the dashboard screen scroll to the bottom
- Select “edit scannable price types”
- Turn off all unwanted price types
