Can I sell tickets on-site with Freshtix?

Yes - we have an easy-to-use Box Office Solution that will allow you sell tickets on-site at your event.

It works best with a laptop - we do not have a mobile app or tablet app available (yet).

You can purchase a USB credit card swipe from us, or use your own.

Note: Please contact us if you would like to use this feature.

  • Login to your account on and select 'Sell Tickets'
  • Select an event
  • Enter the number of tickets to purchase
  • Enter the customer's first and last name
  • If you have time, enter the customer's address
  • Enter the customer's email address
    • For Cash Sales
      • make sure the total is correct
      • click the green 'Purchase with Cash' button

    • For Credit Card Sales with using a USB swipe
      • Click 'Swipe A Card'
      • Swipe the customer's credit card
      • Several fields will populate automatically
      • Enter the cardholders 3 or 4 digit security code
      • Enter their email address for an email receipt
      • Click 'Apply Card'

    • For Credit Card Sales without using a USB swipe
      • Enter the long card number
      • Enter the expiration date MM/YYYY
      • Enter the cardholders 3 or 4 digit security code
      • Enter their email address above for an email receipt
      • Click 'Purchase With Card'
  • The sale is complete

Tips and Tricks

  • The customer's zip code is required for credit card sales (but not for cash sales)
  • The zip code must match what the bank or credit card company has on file with the cardholder or the sale will be declined
  • The customer's address is not required
  • Collecting the customer's address is a nice-to-have (when you're not busy)
  • During busy times, just collect First Name, Last Name, Zip Code and Email Address
